RATES
   

$1200 per boat (max 6 hunters)

LAYOUT HUNTS ~ 3 person min

$300 per person Half day
Combo Hunts are available upon request

Half  Day = 1/2 Hour prior to sunrise until 10:00 AM

50% deposit required to secure date  

Full payment due prior to hunt


Cancellations must be made 30 days prior to a scheduled hunt for a full refund.

The captain may cancel or reschedule any hunt due to severe weather conditions. You will receive a full refund on these canceled hunts.

WHAT TO BRING:

Clothing: Waterproof Jacket, Hat, Facemask, Waders (optional).  Our boats are gray in color so we recommend that you wear something with the same color scheme if you have it available ie. (Natural Gear).  We also recommend wearing several layers to assure warmth throughout the day especially late in the season.

License ~ Duck Stamp info:
    NYS small game hunting  License ~ Obtain your NYS license online

     Federal Duck Stamp ~ Obtain your Federal Duck Stamp online (There is no State stamp required)

    NYS HIP# ~  Obtain your Online NYS HIP Registration

Guns ~ We recommend 12 gauge shotguns.

Shells ~ Steel shot is required by law.  We recommend 3” # 2’s or larger.

Food/Drinks ~ Non-alcoholic

2013-14 WATERFOWL HUNTING SEASON DATES

Long Island Youth Days:  Nov 9 & 10
Ducks, Coots, Mergansers:  Nov 28 -  Jan 26
Sea Ducks:  Oct 17 - Jan 31*
Brant:  Dec 28 - Jan 26

The daily limit of 6 ducks includes all species of mergansers, and may include no harlequin ducks and no more than 4 mallards (no more than 2 of which may be hens), 1 black duck, 3 wood ducks, 2 pintails, 2 redheads, 4 scaup, 1 canvasback, 4 scoters, 2 hooded mergansers or 2 brant.

The daily limit of 7 sea ducks (scoters, eiders and long-tailed ducks - formerly called old squaw) is in addition to the regular duck bag in coastal waters of the Long Island Zone only. No more than 4 scoters may be included in the daily bag of sea ducks. In all other areas, sea ducks are part of the regular duck bag limit.
